 Ok, I didn’t make the meme but it is funny that the therapist watching their new blue-haired client walk towards their office is thinking, "Oh yay, this will be a great long-term client." To me the underlying thought in this is – they’re in one way chasing trying to stand out and make a statement and in another, oddly on edge and sometimes even withdrawn – so a therapist’s dream.
Like the 20-something, blue-haired young lady that cut my hair on Valentine’s Day. She was bemoaning the fact that she tried to walk into a store to get her boyfriend a present but she said, "Jimmy I looked down every aisle and on every ceiling the place was covered in mylar balloons! So I got the heck out of there!" Mid-haircut I had to turn around and probably channeled my grumpy father’s stare of disdain at her.
