| So whether it’s college, trade school or fill in the blank… this whole month is about Education. My Dad used to say, “You can work hard for a few years, or for the rest of your life.” What he was really trying to impress upon me was to get an education and I went to the extreme on that. BA, Masters and two doctorates and the last client I spoke with said, “Just fix my shoulder.” LOL.
In the end, no one will ask you where you got your degrees. And while education is a must to be a doctor, lawyer, or Indian chief, college is not for everyone. Nowadays you may need a six figure loan on a bachelor’s degree. I’ll pass. I’ve had clients that were A/C guys, plumbers and even roofers and they were making six figures. Bottom line is go with what resonates with you! Music, art, computers, whatever… just keep learning.
