TGIWednesday: I don’t know why

TGIWednesday News I believe often life is just us following the breadcrumbs through the magical forest. We never know what’s going to happen next and often asking ‘why?’ will just keep you curled up on the couch 🛋️ and living in a loop. ➰ I have shoes scattered everywhere and the other morning found thick black Skechers style shoes under the couch that I hadn’t worn in a while. I slipped them on and went outside to feed the outside cats 🐈birds 🐦 squirrels 🐿️ and other magical forest creatures that are sometimes waiting on me. Walking back in a more dense area by my fence I felt something that felt as if I had stepped on a rock and as I continued to walk, it was still stuck to the bottom of my shoe. I stopped to check it out and it was a long, rusty roofing nail that went right through the bottom of my shoe 👟! If I had been wearing my regular shoes or flip flops 🩴 I’d be heading to the doctors for a tetanus shot! What led me to put those shoes on? Magical fairies🧚, angels, guides, loved ones in spirit? Regardless of who or what it was, I was thankful that a force greater than myself that runs in around and through me and everything in the Universe gave me a little wink of, "We got this!" TGIWednesday: Ok, I guess we’ll watch the fish channel

TGIWednesday News My brother Kevin was a real prankster and would hide your car keys 🔑 and then help you look for them. It was no surprise when I asked Spirit "Who keeps doing this?" and it was my brother Kevin. So every day when I go to LA Fitness I leave YouTube on the TV 📺 something spiritual continually playing. When I come back home, I find an aquarium display on the TV screen. To jump from YouTube music playing would require you to click out of it, scroll up 5 app levels above the icon and toggle over to the left one and then click! Yesterday it happened while I was in the room and merely FLASHED from YouTube to the aquarium scene (no it’s not my screensaver, and no I can’t explain it!). It is so beyond explanation that I wanted to share it with you. 🐠🐟 Isn’t life more interesting and fun the way we’re playing it now?! I believe that it is. I don’t know what the regular folks do, but as for me and those I interact with, we want mystical, unusual, FUN, expansive and dynamic. 🪄✨ Remember, "Normal" is just a setting on the dryer! Let’s spice things up and play in the realm of infinite miraculous possibilities and drop a pebble in the pond! TGIWednesday: What’s in a name?

TGIWednesday News My sweet mom aka Granny Ruth used to say, "You can call me by any name you want as long as I’m not late for dinner." I think back in the day… being called ‘Jim Jim’ was the worst, now it’s just Jimmy or Jimmy Mack. Yet every day at LA fitness folks I’ve seen for years will wave and say, "Hey Bill", "Hey Johnny", "Steve!, what’s happening?", "What’s up Peter?" 👋 These are samples of what others say to me. I don’t bother correcting them any more. Maybe they’re taking 5 psych meds or just had their 10th Covid booster. The point is – Churchill said, "If I have to stop and throw a rock at every barking dog, I’ll never accomplish my mission." 🐕 So much of our lives, especially the mundane and the inane, have to be released and let go of now. So many things have no meaning and won’t ever matter. Just as important, we’ll never remember them or their names.
